Chad Verrill is a Portland artist and Maine native whose work has been shown at Local 188, The Space Gallery, Three Fish Gallery, Highland Artworks Gallery, Merrill Auditorium (The Black Frame Show), as well as in several other states, and abroad in Canada, England, and Spain. He was an illustrator for several years working primarily for the Portland Phoenix and Boston Phoenix and currently works on personal art under his CVIC Works company brand. His work has been featured in magazines such as Swingset and Tastes Like Chicken as well as on juxtapoz.com. He is part of the national blog collective known as Eaten By Ducks and is part of a collective based in Chicago that releases the annual art publication, "Bailliwik."
This show will feature new and recent drawings and screen prints. There will also be a cash & carry portion throughout the life of the show which includes individual screen prints, portfolios of a series that will be on display at the show and a book of art & comics which he self-published. This opening is the official release date of two new 18" x 24" 4-color screen prints. The first 25 attendees to the opening will receive a small screen print in an edition of 25 exclusive to this event.

The Front Room Gallery, established in 1997, is the showplace for Odd Inq pottery and tile. Located in South Portland, the gallery is also home to Jon White’s ceramic studio, as well as Crown Plane, the business of Jon’s brother James.
In
addition to the ceramics of Odd Inq, The Front Room Gallery displays
the artwork of local artists. Artist shows run on a bi-monthly basis
